- Breastfeed baby. When possible, breastfeed your baby, it’s free, it helps with mother/baby bonding and there are numerous health benefits for you and for your new bundle of joy. If there is a reason you can’t breast feed, don’t kick yourself, formula is an option. Remember, fed is best! There are state programs to help pay for formula if you need assistance and coupons too.
- Diapers- Another very important baby essential. There are so many ways to save money on diapers, you can purchase with coupons, purchase in bulk, Amazon has great deals on diapers. Cloth diapers are also a great alternative and are very budget friendly!
- Feeding you baby- post breast feeding. When your baby can handle baby food, why not try your kitchen skills to make your own baby food. Whip out the blender to create cheap and healthy baby food for your little one. There are kits you can buy with containers to store the puree blends, you can freeze for later use in an ice cube tray or in Ziploc baggies. Making your baby food compared to buying the little jars may take a little more of your time but will save a lot of money in the end.
