April is an awareness month for MANY MANY topics and events, poetry included. I'm taking advantage of this month to highlight a few beautiful poems written about infant loss, death, and for parents affected by child loss (at any age). Follow through the month and feel free to come back often and read as you like, these poems have helped us through so many hard times throughout the years!

Your blog is such a pleasure to read. It's bright, light and incredibly touching. I will become a mother soon and an inscription in picture 1 reduced me to tears. Can't wait to see my little child.

Poetry is a form of literature that is based on the interplay of words and rhythm to evoke a concentrated imaginative awareness of an experience or emotion. To put it simply, poems are products of artistic writing that aim to stir the imagination and emotions of people. Aside from being a form of literary art, poetry is also a therapeutic platform. It has a healing power that can make people feel better mentally and emotionally.
