“Vilomah" a name for parents whose child has passed away….
I am the mother to an angel. At the young age of 21, my husband and I lost our stillborn daughter. Her loss took us through the darkest periods of our life yet we are here, we don’t have all the answers but we have lived through the first few years of grief and am still making it day to day. My hope is that I can provide some little piece of comfort or support to another mom, another dad, another family member who finds themselves going through a difficult situation. We want our daughter to be remembered and we wanted to honor her memory by helping other families.
These arrived today in the mail and I was very excited to check them out. I love the design with the light color and dark birds, it’s a very nice pattern. The fabric is nice but not very soft. I do like that these work with an ergo baby carrier and that they help to keep drool off of the actual carrier. I didn’t realize that the side straps were included, so that was a nice addition that I hadn’t noticed when originally looking at the product. Rather than using Velcro, these use straps and buttons which might be both a positive and a negative, as Velcro loses its ability to stick over time, the straps/buttons wont. However, one safety issue might occur if a strap or button is to come loose or to come off.
